About the course

Over nine weeks I take you step by step through settling your puppy in, toilet and crate training, socialising her safely, and building the calm temperament that makes everything else easy. I am Diona, the trainer behind Diona The Trainer, based in Melbourne. I come to dog training from a mix you will not find often: a degree in Veterinary Science, a Masters in Early Childhood Education, and fifteen years working across zoos, wildlife reserves, assistance dog programs and pet training. That background taught me one thing above all. When a dog's needs are met and you understand what its body is telling you, good behaviour follows on its own, without constant commands. My own dog Murphy is what that looks like. This program is how I help you do the same with your puppy.
